About PoA
This blog is dedicated to Armenian culture, history and everything else Armenia related. PeopleOfAr is set on a journey of self education, sharing of knowledge and pursuit of hidden Armenian cultural “treasures”, all in the spirit of academic integrity. Welcome to PeopleOfAr!
Dear PoA creators,
I would like to use two of your articles about Armenian Queens of Jerusalem for my students. However, I can not use it until I have a proper citation for the site. May I have permission to copy the information and give it to my students, along with the name of the author of the article?
Thank you,
Joan Zakhour
Hello to all of the PoA creators and supporters!
Thank you very-very-very much, for this wonderful, helpful, productive website.
I did find a lot of very important information i couldn find anywhere else.
Thank you very much.
Sincerely, Alik.
I have been reading this blog for years. I always wondered who you are
Is it a team or a single person? Which part of the world did they grow up in and what keeps this person so motivated that they keep going and going and do they realize how rare that type of dedication is?
Thank you Emili for your kind words. There is no team unfortunately, only one person behind this website. I do everything myself from researching, writing articles, creating video’s and graphic material. It takes a lot of time and indeed dedication. Fortunately I do not lack dedication, so expect PeopleOfAr to continue for a very long time π All thanks to grateful and kind people such as yourself.
Amazing. Whoever you are, you are doing an incredible job. Where do you do the research? Most of the data you present is not easily fetched!
Good luck and keep on enlightening us with incredible details, and pushing us to new levels of appreciating, enjoying and presenting our culture to ourselves and the rest of the world.

Thank you Lucineh! I spend a lot of time finding such information and writing about it. I appreciate all the support!
Hello PoA!
I have a question about your logo art. I recognize the Armenian wheel of eternity and have seen it set in both six and eight pointed stars. My limited online research has given some insight into the meaning of it being set in the 6-pointed star, but I haven’t found any on the 8-pointed star. Could you give me some insight? I’d love to know more. Trying to learn as much about my Armenian heritage as I can before scheduling a trip there!
Thank you! And have a wonderful day!
Leah
