The sacred world of Urartu extended beyond named gods and goddesses. The inscription of Mheri Dur invokes divine weapons, gates, mountains, lakes, protective forces and even the greatness of Ḫaldi—revealing a landscape in which objects, places and abstract powers could possess sacred presence.

These illustrations offer modern visual reconstructions of those remarkable powers.
