The construction of the new (Saint Hovhannes) Church in Abovian, Armenia is completed and the church officially opened its doors. This is the end result.

Christianity has ushered a new age of enlightenment in Armenia, from alphabet, writing books, to science mathematics etc… Not to mention the ability to retain own identity in a region plagued with assimilation and extinction of entire nations. It was a way for us to be Armenian to be distinct. Off course the destruction of pagan temples is inexcusable, but there are also signs of malpractice at the temples.
