This bow was found in Shirakavan (very close to Artik). It is on display in the History Museum of Armenia in Yerevan. Here is color picture The bow belongs to the so called complex type; it has an equal double stretch, the wood piece is round in section and is covered with sheets of bronze and horn-like additions in the mid-part and at the ends. The horn-like additions were of a constructive significance: they were used to stretch the bowstring tightly. Early stage of the Late Bronze Age, 15th century BC, Lchashen, wood, 65×16,5 cm, SHMA No. 2009-620. Made of a single piece of wood and cylindrical in form, the quiver has two lobe-shaped bronze protrusions for the shoulder strap. The quiver is from Lchashen, while the bow is from Shirakavan. They are displayed together though at the museum.
