Azerbaijani 🇦🇿 official continue their campaign of cultural genocide against Armenians. I call on Armenian creators, historians, and communities everywhere to document, preserve, and protect the cultural heritage our ancestors built with their own hands. The sacred world of Urartu extended beyond named gods and goddesses. The inscription of Mheri Dur invokes divine weapons, gates, mountains, lakes, protective forces and even the greatness of Ḫaldi—revealing a landscape in which objects, places and abstract powers could possess sacred presence.

These illustrations offer modern visual reconstructions of those remarkable powers.
